I found this bird dining on insects just outside my house earlier today. He (she?) was, originally, a little concerned about my presence, but seemed to calm down quickly when he realised I was not a threat. Does anybody know what species it is?
I was out sailing a few days, and this swallow (?) repeatedly sat on one of my lines, letting me take several pictures of it before taking off again.
The blur in this picture has two different explanations. Firstly, the background is blurred because I was following the flying swans (ie moving the camera while taking the picture), thus giving the background the impression of movement.
