The monster

A painted bollard.

Not far from home, there are a series of bollards, one of which I have featured previously. This one has been painted… I don’t know who by, or why, but I actually like the result: an otherwise drab, functional, piece of concrete has become a work of art.

This picture is the result of two “exposures” from the same RAW file: one to make the sky look good and one to make a reasonable bollard. The two images were then blended together using Gimp, a free image manipulation program.

Grymt kul bild.
