Moon over Holmsund street
I was out walking the other day, and came across this marvelous view of the town I live. Unfortunately, my camera doesn’t do the scene justice.
Winter birch
Two days before Christmas, and the snow is all gone. I have discovered that this is not all bad though: if the cold persists I might be able to go skating on the sea ice in a few days time.
Global warming?
I was out photographing today (December 8, 2007) again, and snapped this picture. For the observant viewer the green grass and lack of snow will be more than obvious. For those not fortunate enough to live in the area, I can point out that just 3 days ago, there were 5 cm of snow on the ground, but it is now gone. I cannot tell for sure if this green grass a mere 2 weeks before Christmas is any sign of global warming, but it certainly raises the question.
