Footprints in the blue snow

The blue colour comes from the late hour (about 1600): the sun was below the horizon. this gives a very blue colour in what little light there is left. I have not altered the coulours with GIMP, only the size of the image.

This is one of my few pictures not taken within walking distance from home (unlike my previous footprints http://fotoblogg.wordpress.com/2007/02/13/footprints/). This picture comes from the area around Idbäcken, west of Umeå.
